You're in the right place if…
You want genuine flexibility
You need an income that fits around your life — family, health, caring responsibilities, or simply the freedom to work your own way.
Technology isn't your comfort zone
You don't need to be a tech expert. If you can follow a clear set of instructions, you can do this — that's what the right teaching makes possible.
You want to learn properly
You're not looking for overnight promises. You want to understand how this works so you can build something lasting and feel confident managing it yourself.
You've been in the workforce a while
Career changers, experienced professionals, and people returning to work after a break bring valuable skills. AI tools make those skills more powerful, not redundant.
You want real support
Not just a course you download and forget. You want someone who will actually help you when you get stuck — and celebrate when things click.
You're ready to do the work
This isn't passive. Results come from taking consistent action on what you learn. If you're committed to that, the system genuinely works.
Ready when you are
The next step is just a question
Not sure which path fits you? Send a message and Sarah-Jane will point you in the right direction — no pressure, no sales call required.

Sarah-Jane Janes
Educator. Business coach. AI specialist. And someone who has genuinely lived the journey she teaches.
Photo coming soon
Thirty years ago, I made a decision that changed everything. I was sitting at a desk in a job that was slowly shrinking me — and I knew I couldn't keep trading my one life for something that didn't fit. So I handed in my notice, with young children at home and no safety net. That decision was terrifying. It was also the best thing I ever did.
I went on to build a career in education and business coaching that I'm genuinely proud of — helping thousands of people learn new skills, launch their own businesses, and build confidence in themselves. Online and in person. Across multiple brands. For thirty years.
My relationship with AI goes back further than most people realise. I studied artificial intelligence at college in 1985 — before it was a buzzword, before it was a business strategy, before most people had heard the term. What I learned then gave me a foundation that still shapes how I approach technology today: not as something to be feared or outsourced, but as a tool to be understood and used well.
Over the last six years, I have used AI tools every single day — in my writing, my content creation, my coaching, and my own business operations. I know what these tools can genuinely do, and I know where people get stuck. That's what I teach.
Life has also taught me a great deal about resilience. I now use a wheelchair, and my husband was diagnosed with Stage 3 Parkinson's disease. These realities changed what I needed from my work — and accelerated my commitment to building a business model that is flexible, location-independent, and genuinely sustainable.
I am not a guru promising overnight results. I am a teacher — and teachers care about whether you actually understand, whether you can do it yourself, and whether it works in your real life. That's the standard I hold myself to.
Next Step Forward exists because I believe that the right information, taught properly, can genuinely change someone's circumstances. If you're ready to learn, I'm ready to teach.
